PBE recently completed the design and build of “Wiess Energy Hall 3.0” at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This 30,000-square-foot permanent exhibition features the science and technology of energy. PBE developed all the exhibits and themed gallery spaces for the new hall, including two motion-platform theater experiences, a working replica of an automated drilling rig, a fifteen-foot diameter rotating tricone drill bit, a full-sized flying car of the future, and a 2,500-square-foot, 1/150th scale model city brought to life with animated projection mapping delivered by 32 laser projectors. The new hall is the most contemporary, comprehensive, and technologically advanced exhibition on the science and technology of energy anywhere in the world.
